WOW!!! Three weeks ago I barely knew what blogging was. I heard of it but had no idea that so many people were using it to connect all over the planet on so many divers topics. I logged in to my blog this morning eager to see if anyone out in cyberspace had found me and left a comment. I was also eager to write a couple of post about our experience lastnight at FPU and about my progress with preperation for the launch of MISSION 1 on our physique transformation. Well….I clicked on the the link for “other topics you might be interested in”…….needless to say….more than two hours later and I am just now finding my way back here to make my post for the day. Talk about getting bogged down…LOL.
FPU – Well, Cindy and I attended the first class lastnight. It was great! Very informative and entertaining as well. We left feeling encouraged about the future….yet sad about the past. Mistakes have been made in the past but we realize that we can’t dwell there. We have to press forward!!! One key thing that we both picked up on was the concept on Baby Steps…..the concept that sometimes Goals can look so far away that you may think “I’ll never get there” thus you will reinforce your own negative self-talk and your own limiting beliefs but if you break it down into Baby Steps and you continually move forward in those baby steps you will get there…..what’s the saying “yard by yard everything is hard but inch by inch everything’s a cinch”…something like that anyway..LOL. So that has lead me to my next topic and somewhat revelation.
In planning my launch for MISION 1 of our physique transformation I had decided to purchase the Metabolic-surge program to accompany our BFFM meal plans. I made the purchase a prepared to eagerly devour the material. Lastnights revelation of applying baby steps to reaching goals made me think that perhaps I may be setting myself up for trouble because I am trying to do too much too soon. Perhaps I should break our physique transformation down into baby steps. Maybe just focus on developing good habits by getting 5-6 calorie counted meals in a day and charted excercise everyday and of course being accountable by maintaining this blog. Establishing 12 weeks of that kind of effort will be amazing for our MISSION 1. Then in MISSION 2 we can move into more advanced training and dieting concepts. I am curious to know anyone’s thoughts!!!
Have a great day!!
P.S. I was not succesful in my goal of captureing new pics and stats lastnight (got home late from FPU class) so I am actively moveing it forward as a task to complete tonight…..wish me luck!
